A Baton Rouge-based aviation charter school is moving into the former campus of IDEA University Prep.
IDEA made the announcement on Wednesday.
Helix Community Schools acquired the Plank Road campus for its Helix Aviation Academy just over a month after IDEA announced the campus would close at the end of the school year.
Helix Aviation's current location is on Airpark Boulevard, a mile north of the former IDEA University Prep, which was closed because of low enrollment.
