Hazmat Crews Clear Raw Waste Spill Near Nicholson & Bluebonnet

The St. George Fire Department is on the scene of a crash that sent a tanker truck over on its side, spilling hazardous materials today.

First responders say the accident and spill were at the intersection of Nicholson Drive and Bluebonnet Boulevard.

Hazmat crews were called as raw waste carried by the tanker began to spread onto the highway.

Police say some roads may are closed as fire department crews and waste material specialists were working to clear the highway. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
