A pedestrian ferry is now operational in Iberville Parish following the completion of inspections by the U.S. Coast Guard.
The ferry will cross the Port Allen Lock, connecting Bayou Road with the Intracoastal Road near the Bayou Grosse Tête Draw Bridge, which remains temporarily closed for repairs.

The ferry's tentative operating hours are daily from 5 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 8 p.m. These hours may be adjusted when schools return in August.
