A group of vaccination enthusiasts demonstrated at the Capitol on Monday in opposition to some pending legislation.
The nonprofit Louisiana Families for Vaccines claims the proposed laws would limit access to vaccines in the state on the basis of disinformation.
The legislature is debating bills that would require teenagers to have parental consent for immunizations, forbid schools to require COVID-19 vaccines, and prohibit businesses, schools, and government entities from requiring vaccines or masks.
