A funeral service is scheduled for this Friday for former Denham Springs Mayor James Durbin, who died last week at 76.
Visitation starts at 4 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church on Range Avenue, followed by the service at 6 p.m.
Durbin spent 12 years on the City Council and served three terms as mayor.
He's remembered for supporting upgrades to the city's infrastructure, including a new wastewater treatment system.
