East Baton Rouge Metro Council members plan to replace Brandon Williams on the Baton Rouge Police and Fire Civil Service Board. But Williams says he's not ready to go.
The only agenda item at a special meeting on for Wednesday is replacing Williams with Bill Johannessen.
Williams and the other members have fought over whether he could serve on both the civil service board and the Louisiana Housing Corporation's board.
A trial court said he could, an appeals court said he couldn't, and the state Supreme Court declined to hear Williams's appeal a few days ago.
