A grass fire near I-12 in Livingston Parish is now 100 percent contained.
Fire crews from Livingston Parish District 1 and District 2 responded around 4:30 p.m. yesterday and fought the blaze until 7 p.m. to get it under control.
The Albany Police Department asked drivers on the freeway to be mindful of lane closures and reduced visibility.
The cause of the fire hasn't been determined.
