Patent And Trademark Resource Center Opens At Southern University

The Patent and Trademark Resource Center is now open at Southern University.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday afternoon marked the opening of the center at the John B. Cade Library on the Baton Rouge campus.

Southern University says the resource center is available to students and to the community.

The idea is to promote local economic prosperity by helping people protect their ideas and maybe start a business.
