A murder suspect is back in Baton Rouge following his extradition from Atlanta.

The shooting took place last May on West Brookstown Drive. Police say 29-year-old Robert Lavallias Jr. was dead at the scene.

The U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 34-year-old Keith Williams in Dekalb County, Georgia, as a fugitive.

Williams is now in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison facing charges of second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

Investigators don't know the motive for the shooting.
