Report: Saints Sign DE Chase Young To One-Year Deal

The Saints are adding a former top-three pick to the roster.

ESPN reports that New Orleans is set to sign defensive end Chase Young to a one-year, fully guaranteed $13 million deal.

Young visited with the team on Monday and plans to join a New Orleans defense that is anchored by veterans Cameron Jordan and Demario Davis.

The 24-year-old was selected second overall by the Washington Commanders in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He was traded by Washington to the San Francisco 49ers in the middle of last season.

Young has recorded 100 tackles and 16-and-a-half sacks through his first four seasons.
