Some north Louisiana residents are feeling the earth move under their feet.
The United States Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake southeast of Shreveport.
The USGS says the quake was a magnitude 2.8 and had its epicenter in the village of Hall Summit in Red River Parish.
The agency says quakes usually don't cause damage at magnitudes below 4 or 5.
The Red River Sheriff's Office confirms that local residents felt shaking, but there have been no reports of injuries or damage.
