Skull Found In Slidell Storage Unit

A shocking discovery inside of a storage locker in suburban New Orleans has triggered a police investigation.

The winner of an auction was sifting through the abandoned unit, looking for treasures, when he found a skull.

He called the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, which took custody of the human remains.

The coroner confirms the authenticity of the skull, but they don't know who it is.

A team from LSU is now using high tech equipment to determine the age and origin.
