Louisiana Republicans in Washington, D.C. are taking a dim view of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to keep former President Donald Trump off the state's ballot in 2024.
The court on Tuesday declared Trump ineligible for the presidency under the U.S. Constitution's insurrection clause.
House Speaker Mike Johnson called the ruling a "thinly veiled partisan attack."
Johnson, along with Congressmen Garret Graves and Clay Higgins, say they expect the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the Colorado decision.
