The New Orleans Pelicans are aiming for their fifth straight win hosting the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the Smoothie King Center.
Guard Ja Morant is set to play in his first game this season after serving a 25-game suspension levied by the NBA following Morant flashing a gun during an Instagram livestream last May. It was the second time Morant was suspended for an incident involving a gun.
The Pelicans are coming off a 146-110 demolition of the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. The team set a franchise record with 22 three-pointers in the win.
CJ McCollum led the team with 29 points and Jonas Valanciunas recorded a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
New Orleans is sitting seventh in the West at 16-11.
The game will be heard in the New Orleans area on News Talk 99.5 WRNO and the iHeartRadio app, along with the Pelicans app. Coverage begins at 6:00 p.m. with Pelicans Warmup following by tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
