The 2023 Heisman Trophy award winner is beginning to prepare for the next level.
LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels announced that he is declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft and will skip the team's upcoming bowl game.
Daniels spent two seasons at LSU after transferring from Arizona State.
The signal caller had 3,812 passing yards and 40 touchdowns to pair with 1,134 rushing yards and 10 TD's during his Heisman campaign.
Daniels is ranked as ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s third-best quarterback in the upcoming draft.
LSU is set to take on Wisconsin in the ReliaQuest Bowl on January 1 in Tampa.
