Elderly Woman Run Over, Killed After Tripping In College Dr. Parking Lot

Baton Rouge police are investigating after an elderly woman was run over and killed in the parking lot of a grocery store on Monday morning.

Officers responded around 10 a.m. to the accident in the parking lot of the Albertsons on College Drive.

Investigators say 84-year-old Louise Calloway tripped and fell, and was run over by a car driven by somebody who didn't see her.

Calloway died at the scene.

She is the wife of retired 19th Judicial District Court Judge Curtis Calloway.
