Gov.-Elect Jeff Landry is naming a couple of top appointments to the Office of Motor Vehicles.
Landry announced Wednesday that Dan Casey will serve as commissioner of the OMV, and Austin Badon will serve as an assistant to the commissioner.
Casey is the former senior director of governmental affairs for an auto industry software firm.
Badon is a former three-term member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, where he served as the chair or vice-chair of several key committees.
