LSU women's hoops cruised to a big win at home Monday night as the fifth-ranked Tigers defeated Texas Southern 106-47 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Flau'jae Johnson and Aneesah Morrow tied for the team-lead with 17 points. LSU has won five straight to improve to 5-1.
Star player Angel Reese was a no-show for the second straight game after not playing in Friday's win over Southeastern Louisiana.
Coach Kim Mulkey says Reese is still a member of the team, and they hope she returns to the game soon. Reese herself told her fans on social media not to believe everything they read.
The Tigers will take on Niagara in the Cayman Islands Classic on Friday afternoon.
