A third round of candidate interviews was conducted on Wednesday as the search for Baton Rouge's next chief of police continues.
A special review committee interviewed five hopefuls, including three current or former ranking officers with the department.
It was the third such meeting as the committee works to interview all of the 20 candidates.
Outgoing BRPD Chief Murphy Paul had planned to step down on Friday, but has decided to stay on the job until the committee chooses a new chief.
