The Pelicans fell to the Orlando Magic last night in their preseason opener at the Smoothie King Center, 122-105.
The Pelicans started off strong but fell behind the Magic by giving up too many turnovers that Orlando turned into points.
Coach Willie Green held his starters to a maximum of 20 minutes for the exhibition match.
The club travels to Birmingham to take on the Houston Rockets tomorrow.
