A Walker High School senior who was criticized by her principal has had her scholarship endorsement and position in the Student Government Association reinstated.

Kaylee Timonet was chastised by principal Jason St. Pierre, after being seen on a video dancing at an off-campus party following Homecoming.

St. Pierre had questioned Timonet's religious convictions and moral character, and those of the other people in the video.

St. Pierre's actions triggered outrage from the community who felt the principal overstepped his authority.

In a statement, St. Pierre indicated that he had apologized to Timonet, but Timonet's mother, Rachel Timonet says St. Pierre is not being fully truthful about the conversation involved.

The school system may still investigate the matter.
