The Capital Area Transit System Board of Commissioners is naming its new interim CEO.
The board voted Tuesday to appoint Theo Richards to the position, replacing the previous interim CEO Dwana Williams, who stepped down as of August 24.
The CATS Board of Commissioners has started the search for a new CEO.
Williams and the board issued statements thanking each other for their efforts.
