Speed limits are slightly increasing on certain stretches of the local interstate highways as of today.
Crews have installed signs indicating the increased speed limits on some parts of I-10 and I-12.
Between Essen Lane and Siegen Lane on I-10, and between Sherwood Forest Boulevard and Range Avenue on I-12, the legal maximum speed is increasing from 60 to 65.
The speed limit on I-12 between Range Avenue and Walker is increasing from 60 miles per hour to 70.
