A Baton Rouge police officer is in custody and accused of rape.
Zachary Police say 29-year-old DeMichael Robertson turned himself in on Tuesday. Robertson is charged with third-degree rape.
The police departments of Zachary and Baton Rouge collaborated to make the arrest.
Officials say Robertson was already on paid administrative leave as a result of a prior incident and arrest.
