Over 1,500 In Baton Rouge Still Without Power After Monday Storms

Crews are still working to restore power after the severe weather in Baton Rouge on Monday.

As of Tuesday night, Entergy said about 1,500 homes and businesses were still in the dark, down from more than 23,000 Monday evening.

As of Wednesday morning, around 1,300 outages were still reported in East Baton Rouge and nearly 900 in Ascension.

Mayor Sharon Weston Broome says residents who need emergency assistance or resources while the lights are out should call 211.
