An LSU grad student can no longer teach at the university after he left a profane voice mail for a Louisiana lawmaker.

State Sen. Mike Fesi said he contacted authorities after hearing the vulgar message from Marcus Venable.

Venable reportedly hurled profanities at Fesi and said he couldn't wait to read his name in the obituaries after the Louisiana Legislature voted to override the governor's veto of a bill banning gender-affirming care for minors.

The university said everyone has the right to express their opinions, but the voice mail crossed the line.
