Suspect Arrested For Firing Gun In Livingston Parish Walmart Parking Lot

A suspect is in custody after reportedly firing a gun into the air outside the Walmart in Watson on Monday night.

Livingston Parish deputies arrested 18-year-old Aristeo Borders for aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal discharge of a firearm.

Borders reportedly fired the shot in the parking lot, but didn't hit anyone or cause any damage.

Deputies say the gunshot followed a fight among a group of five people.
