Organizers of the effort to incorporate the City of St. George say they're prepared to take their cause all the way to the state Supreme Court.
A three-judge panel of the First Circuit Court unanimously agreed that the petition didn't comply with state law because petitioners didn't have an adequate plan in place.
It wasn't the organizers' first court defeat.
The St. George legal team said win or lose, this case was always going to end up before the state's high court.
Baton Rouge's lead counsel says they're prepared for the challenge.
