$68M In FEMA Money Inbound To Louisiana For Hurricane Laura, Ida Relief

South Louisiana is set to receive more than $68 million from FEMA for Hurricane Laura and Ida relief.

U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) says the Jefferson Parish Public School Board will receive more than $42 million, and the Calcasieu Parish School Board will receive more than $8 million, making them the two largest recipients.

The rest of the money will go to various agencies in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes, plus the city of Hammond.
