Five bills from the 2023 Legislative Session are now state law, having received Gov. John Bel Edwards signature on Thursday.
One bill provides for certain insurance premium discounts. Another deals with volunteer board members of certain interlocal risk management agencies.
A third relates to nursing home requirements and standards for emergency preparedness plans. The fourth repeals a provision to license nurses by endorsement.
The fifth enables the continuous revision of the Code of Civil Procedure.
