The National Transportation Safety Board is issuing its preliminary report on last month's deadly crash of a Baton Rouge Police helicopter.
The crash on March 26 killed Sgt. David Poirrier and Cpl. Scotty Canezaro.
The NTSB stated on Wednesday that the helicopter went down about three minutes after the pilots ended a police pursuit at 2:35 a.m.
The preliminary report doesn't give a definitive cause of the accident, but it describes the debris field where the chopper crashed near Port Allen.
