The two Baton Rouge police officers killed in a helicopter crash last month were laid to rest Thursday.
A memorial service was held at Istrouma Baptist Church for Sergeant David Poirrier and Corporal Scotty Canezaro.
The two were in a helicopter that crashed while flying back to Baton Rouge after they were called off of a chase on March 26.
The crash remains under investigation.
