A Baton Rouge man is off to prison for killing his wife and then fleeing to Mexico with their daughter.

The jury sentenced Oscar Lozada on Monday to life with no possibility of parole for second-degree murder.

Lozado was also sentenced to 30 years for obstruction of justice.

Lozada was convicted in February of the 2011 murder of his wife, Sylviane Finck, whose body has never been found.
