Former LSU men's basketball coach Will Wade now holds the same position at McNeese State University.
McNeese's Athletics Director Heath Schroyer made the announcement on Sunday.
Wade replaces John Aiken, who was let go last Wednesday after two seasons and a 22-45 overall record.
LSU fired Wade last year after the NCAA notified the university about reported recruiting violations Wade was apparently aware of.
