A woman is in custody and accused of selling meth from her ice cream truck in Slidell.

Officers pulled over the blue ice cream truck late Monday morning on Old Spanish Trail for having an expired license plate and no brake lights.

Police found melted ice cream in the freezer along with meth and drug paraphernalia.

They arrested Tamisha Morin, 42, for drug possession, an outstanding warrant and traffic violations.

Officers impounded the truck.

Authorities do not believe any children were exposed to meth due to the truck being out of commission for several months.

Two puppies were also recovered from the truck and turned over to Slidell Animal Control.
