Forecasters Say Tropical Storm Fiona Could Become Hurricane

Tropical Storm Fiona is expected become a hurricane in the coming days.

Fiona currently has top winds of 50 miles per hour as it moves to the west at 14 miles per hour.

The latest forecast models have Fiona heading toward the Caribbean islands, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, before curving on a northerly path east of Florida.

The National Hurricane Center expects Fiona to reach hurricane strength by Wednesday.
