Endangered sea turtles are making a comeback in the Chandeleur Islands for the first time in 75 years.

Louisiana's Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority and the Department of Wildlife say Kemp's ridley turtles are nesting in the Breton National Wildlife Refuge.

The agencies say more than 50 sea turtle crawls have been documented, along with two hatchlings that were making their way to the water.
