City Leaders Interested In Bringing Hockey Back To Baton Rouge

City leaders are interested in bringing professional hockey back to Baton Rouge and are planning to give fans a taste to see what happens.

The Raising Cane's River Center will host three showcase games in December and January to test fan response to the idea of a new team.

If fans like what they see, a franchise of the new Federal Prospects Hockey League could end up in Baton Rouge by next year.

The league has several teams around the nation, including one in Mississippi.
