WBR Deputies Tase, Arrest Naked Man Who Attacked Store Cashier, Customer

A man is in custody after reportedly attacking two people in a West Baton Rouge Parish convenience store on Sunday night while totally naked.

Witnesses say 50-year-old Joel Pennington entered the Tiger Trax on US 190 in Erwinville around midnight and attacked the cashier and a customer.

The two of them tossed him out and locked the door.

Deputies showed up and had to tase Pennington to get him in cuffs.

Pennington is charged with three counts of simple assault, resisting an officer, criminal property damage, and obscenity.
