The 2022 Louisiana legislative session is at an end.
After it wrapped up on Monday, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle said you win some, you lose some, and were generally pleased with what they got done.
Gov. John Bel Edwards held a press conference afterward in a similar spirit.
Edwards said the pay raise for teachers and the amount allocated for the construction of a new Mississippi River bridge were both less than what he'd wanted, but he was still grateful for what had been passed.
