An employee of the Office of Motor Vehicles is accused of accepting bribes to issue fake CDLs and Commercial Learners Permits.

Louisiana State Police say Reggie James Jr. issued six Commercial Learners Permits and CDLs to East Baton Rouge Parish drivers who hadn't taken the tests.

James reportedly took $1,300 to issue a CDL to a driver who had flunked the test.

Police arrested James on Wednesday on charges of public bribery, malfeasance in office, and six counts of injuring public records.
