The AAA Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Louisiana is $3.95 a gallon for regular unleaded as of Friday.
That price is up ten cents from a week ago, and is $1.32 more than a year ago.
The average price at the pump in Baton Rouge is $3.92 for a gallon of regular unleaded, an increase of ten cents from a week ago and $1.33 higher a year ago.
In New Orleans, the average is $3.96, up a nickel from last week and $1.37 higher than last year at this time.
AAA put the national average at $4.28.
