Baton Rouge International School will permanently close its doors at the end of this school year.
The school had operated in the city as a private International Baccalaureate World School for more than 20 years.
An executive with the International Schools Partnership in USA and Canada says the school is shutting down because of a sharp drop in enrollment and the financial impact of the pandemic and hurricanes over the past three years.
