Officials with the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair announced on Tuesday that the 2021 event had the biggest attendance in the fair's history.
More than 100,000 people went to the event during its 11-day run.
On seven of those days, fairgoers set daily attendance records.
A spokesman says the fair succeeded because of 11-days of dry weather, along with Gov. John Bel Edwards lifting the mask mandate.
