A captain with the Walker Police Department is relieved of duty following his arrest for domestic violence over the weekend.
Livingston Parish deputies responded around 3 a.m. Sunday to a reported domestic disturbance at a home in Walker.
They arrested 50-year-old Chris Dufour on a charge of domestic abuse battery.
Dufour is on leave pending the outcome of the criminal charge.
