A Zachary company is operating a free coronavirus testing site in Ascension Parish.
MedComp's newest site is now open on the corner of Irma and Cornerview in Gonzales, across from Gonzales City Hall.
The company also has two testing sites in Zachary. One is at the Zachary Youth Park, and the other is on Firestation Road near Zachary Lumber.
All three sites are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
MedComp says people can usually expect to get their test results in one or two days.
Online preregistration is required.
