State Rep. Ted James Resigns To Accept Federal SBA Post

State Rep. Ted James is leaving office to accept a federal appointment by President Joe Biden.

James held a news conference on Wednesday to announce he'll be leaving the state legislature late this month.

The Democratic representative has been appointed administrator of the Small Business Administration's South Central region.

James will oversee SBA programs, offices, and operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
