A post office in Denham Springs is picking up the pieces after an elderly woman accidentally drove into the building on Tuesday.
Police say the accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. at the post office on Del Orleans Avenue.
A woman in her eighties reportedly pulled into a parking spot at the post office, then accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake.
She wasn't injured, but a postal worker was hospitalized with a possible broken leg.
