A Baton Rouge family says their child participated in Moderna's vaccine trial with no lingering ill effects.
Ginger Brininstool signed up her daughter Megan Pollock to participate in the trial.
The study gave either the vaccine or a placebo to more than 4,700 kids ages six to 11.
Brininstool says her daughter experienced the usual temporary side effects associated with the Moderna vaccine, including fatigue, fever, headache, and injection-site pain.
Megan was back to normal the next day.
