A 14-year-old Glen Oaks High School student is in hot water after administrators found a gun in his backpack on a school bus.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office School Drug Task Force responded to the school just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
The ninth-grader had reportedly left his bag on the bus, and administrators found a loaded 9 mm handgun inside it.
The teen is charged with illegally carrying a firearm on a school property and gun-free zone. He reportedly hadn't made any threats.
